Question: How can I chat using Zwinky?

Answer: You can use your Zwinky character to chat with another Zwinky anywhere on the Web. Simply go to the Zwinky Toolbar where you would like to chat, click on the Zwinky icon in the toolbar. Select “Enter Chat” from the dropdown menu. Once a fellow Zwinky user goes to the same web page, and selects “Enter Chat,” you’ll be able to chat with him or her using your Zwinky.

You can also access the Chat feature by clicking on the “Launch Wardrobe” link after logging in to the Zwinky Toolbar, and then clicking on the “Chat Now!” tab from your Wardrobe screen. You’ll see a list of active Zwinky chatrooms on the page beneath the “Go to:” window. Click on the "Join Chat" link to join in the chat on that page, or enter a new web page address in the space provided above the list and click on the “Go” button to go to the page and start chatting.

Question: How do I make friends with another Zwinky?

Answer: To make friends with another Zwinky, simply go to that Zwinkies' profile page by clicking on their name or image anywhere on the Zwinky site. Scroll down to the "Contact Me" box at the bottom of the center column then click on “Add as friend”.

To make friends with a Zwinky you’re chatting with, simply right-click on the Zwinkies' name in the chat screen and select “Add as friend” in the drop-down menu.

NOTE: For safety reasons, if you want to have a friend that isn't in your age group (Age groups: 17 and under, or 18 and older) , you will need that person's email address to invite them.

Question: How do I add or embed my Zwinky Toolbar to my web page, blog, or profile page?

Answer: Adding your Zwinky Toolbar to your web page, blog, or social network profile page is easy.

1. After creating your Zwinky in your wardrobe, click the "Save Outfit" button.
2. Now click on the "Add to your Web Page" link. The HTML you will need to add to your profile or blog will now appear.
3. Click the "Copy Code" button that appears beneath the embedding HTML code.

Note: You may also copy this code directly from the bottom-left corner of your Profile page. Simply click the link labeled "Share your Zwinky" from the left column of your Profile to gain access to the HTML code.

Now that you have the HTML code, simply paste it in the appropriate area on your web page, blog or profile page:

* MySpace - click the "Edit Profile" link in your Account Information box, then paste the code into one of the text fields (such as "About Me" or "Interests") on the ensuing page. Once you've done this, click the "Save All Changes" button at the bottom of the page.
* Xanga - click the "Look and Feel" link at the top of your page, paste the code into the text field named "Website Stats" and then save your settings.
* Hi5 - click the "Edit My Profile" link at the bottom of the photo box, then click the "Personalize" tab. Paste the code into the text entry field marked "Style:" before clicking the "Save Profile" button at the bottom of the page.
* Blogs (using products such as Blogger, Type Pad or MSN Spaces) - click the link to create a new post, and then click the "Edit HTML" or "HTML" button before pasting the code into the text entry area and publishing the entry to your blog.
